Field Services Sales – Job in Austin, Texas

As the Field Services Sales Director for Austin, you’ll be the go-to person for developing new service business, supporting existing clients, and working closely with our field technicians to deliver top-tier generator service. Your focus will be on growing service contracts, emergency work, and maintenance agreements with commercial and industrial clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prospect and close new service customers in the Austin area through cold calls, site visits, and referrals
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with current clients
  • Promote field services such as preventive maintenance, diagnostics, load bank testing, and emergency repairs
  • Work with service coordinators and technicians to scope, price, and deliver jobs effectively
  • Prepare and follow up on quotes and proposals
  • Meet monthly and quarterly revenue targets
  • Accurately track leads and sales activity in CRM.

Job Requirements / Skills

  • 6+ years of outside B2B sales experience, ideally in industrial services, power generation, HVAC, or heavy equipment
  • Familiarity with diesel/natural gas generators is a major plus
  • Strong presentation, follow-up, and closing skills
  • Self-starter with a results-driven mindset
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally as needed communication skills and team player mentality.

COMPENSATION: $73,860 – $84,890 per hour

This position is full-time, in-person, and is located in Austin, Texas
