Morgan Trujillo Honored by Foundations of Change

Generator Source is thrilled to announce that our very own Morgan Trujillo, President of NAWIC Denver Chapter #112, has been honored with the prestigious Foundations of Change Award by the Great Hall Completion Project! This recognition celebrates her unwavering dedication to driving equity, innovation, and positive transformation in Denver’s construction industry.

For the past five years, the Great Hall Project at Denver International Airport has spotlighted trailblazing women who are reshaping the field. As part of this tradition, Morgan will be recognized at the 2026 Women in Construction Luncheon on March 12 at The Cube in MCA Central Park. Not only is she receiving this award, but she’s also been invited to join as a panelist, sharing her insights on leadership and advocacy that empower the next generation of female professionals.

Morgan’s journey, from her hands-on start in Cummins’ Power Generation Technical Apprenticeship to leading sales teams at Generator Source, embodies the grit and grace needed to thrive in construction. As NAWIC Denver’s leader, she’s championed initiatives like our WIC Week events, including kickoff breakfasts and emerging leaders sessions, to build a more inclusive community. Her motto, “See a need, fill a need,” perfectly aligns with the award’s focus on creating lasting change.

The Great Hall Project itself is a game-changer for Denver, modernizing the Jeppesen Terminal to handle future growth while boosting passenger experience and incorporating Colorado’s vibrant culture. Set to wrap up in 2027, it’s a symbol of progress, and Morgan’s work mirrors that spirit by opening doors for women in construction across the Mile High City.
