Rehlko is a new name built on one of the oldest and most respected legacies in the power generation industry. The company’s history began over a century ago when, in 1920, Kohler Co. introduced the world’s first engine-powered electric generator, the Kohler® Automatic Power and Light. For the next 100 years, Kohler built a global reputation for engineering excellence, powering historic Antarctic expeditions and providing critical power during WWII.  

In 2005, Kohler significantly expanded its global reach and technological capabilities by acquiring the French-based manufacturer SDMO Industries, becoming the world’s third-largest generator manufacturer. Building on this powerful foundation, the recent evolution from Kohler Energy to Rehlko marks a strategic shift to focus entirely on creating an energy-resilient world.     Do I need Rehlko ATS and MPAC switchgear with a Rehlko generator?

    You do not have to, but single-source systems reduce integration risk. We can also integrate Rehlko generators with third-party gear when required.

    What is the typical lifespan of a used Rehlko diesel generator?

    With proper maintenance, Rehlko diesel generators are known to run for tens of thousands of hours. Many standby units have low hours and a lot of life left. Our inspection helps estimate remaining life.

    Do used Rehlko generators come with a warranty?
